Sue Vinje Trucking sponsored 9 kids from Mentor Duluth for a ride of a lifetime on August 30, 2012 in Superior, WI.
When the opportunity presented itself the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) chapter 272 decided that bringing the rare passenger plane to Superior, Wisconsin was something they could not pass up.The Ford-Tri motor airplane built in 1929 was one of the first airplanes designed for passenger.
Their goal in bringing an aircraft like this to the Northland was to inspire kids. This group of deserving kids got their chance to ride in something very cool and unique.
